Master copy
For my digital class we had this master copy exercise. Although these assignments are often considered tedious, it really is a great way to learn, no matter how grumpy you are about it. I chose Sargent's Rosina so I could practice with texture and different brushes. I absolutely love her character (which is often a rare element in classical portraiture).

I commented on this when you posted but it seemed to have not stuck. I wrote something along the lines of tears and beautiful and amazing blah blah blah...something about this being the most amazing piece I've seen you do actually blah blah
